Snap Out of It !

Maybe it's because the past 2 or 3 days the weather has turned cool ( cold !) and rainy... but I have been in this mood and I gotta get over it! I am so grateful for all that I am blessed with. Family, Home and Health. I appreciate the little things... I thank God for this amazing earth he created as I enjoy all the colors and sounds of Spring ! But, man I can sure conjure up a long list of gripes too, and that is what it seems I have been doing! It's my wonderful family who has to endure this ugly mood of me ! So, I am deciding today to snap out of it! Complaining cannot change anything! So, I'll be waiting for the warm sunshine to lift me up! I have been creative lately and I will post a few items soon. I also have photos of amazing flowers in bloom around here I want to post also, as soon as I decide how I want to display them. I'm getting tired of slideshows... check back in a few days !

I have this scripture bracelet that reads...

count your blessings instead of your crosses
count your gains instead of your losses
count your smiles instead of your tears
count your courage instead of your fears
count your health instead of your wealth
love your neighbor as much as yourself

My 6 Word memoir.....

THESE ARE THE DAYS TO REMEMBER ! I am trying to stop each day and appreciate little frustrations, little messes, mishaps, and just life's sometimes crazy moments! I am trying to remind myself that it is nothing to get upset about when housework falls behind and when I am forever cleaning up messes but my house never seems clean to me!
These are the days... the best days of all, while my kids are still small! One day all too soon they will be grown and I will long for these days to return! I wanted my 6 words to be ... " God give me patience with my Blessings!" But, I couldn't work those 7 words into 6 keeping God first! Oh, and I could also use this one...
" America Runs on Dunkin.. especially me " I love Dunkin Donut coffee ! So, this Natalie Merchant song has been in my head lately... I thought is was just perfect!
See my slideshow below...

Grant's Playdate

Grant played with a couple of friends from preschool today. We were invited to
Mr. Bs coffeehouse! This place is great... moms can have coffee and chat with other moms, kids can play in the coolest indoor jungle gym and is free and you can even bring your own snacks from home ( or buy there) ... man, there should be more places like this around!

I usually bake something to take if we have been invited to a " first playdate"
Although, we know each other from 2nd year together in preschool, this is the first time we have gotten together outside of preschool / field trips . I baked Oatmeal cookies, and used the last of the quick oats and just as I was about to toss the oats container, this clever idea came to me... instead of placing the cookies on a paper plate or putting them in a "zippy" bag... I altered the container ! It's perfect for holding the cookies and looks so much nicer too !
