Simple Pleasures

After some thought on "what to do" / "where can we go?" for this Holiday Weekend,

We decided to do NOTHING! Go NO WHERE! We did some grilling, and purchased this pool for the kids to play around in for Memorial Day Weekend! The cost of this kiddie pool>$30

Mom sitting down for longer than 5 minutes... PRICELESS! The kids had so much fun just splashing around & shooting "mom & dad" with water guns!

Another Challenge

Annette... it's your's ( this layout)... I'll mail it to you soon! You need to display it in your craft room! I knew that almost a year ago, when I had you do this expressive pose in MY craft room,

that it would one day be used for a layout! And the story GOes....

Annette came to visit me and she brought alot of her projects from home to show me! We shopped and went to CKC last July and we joked that I would have to ship half of her stuff back to AL, still not sure how she fit it all in her luggage! Mother's Day

I had a nice Mother's Day. " Showered" with gifts, cards, candy & plants! All 5 of us had lunch out today ( which never happens! ) I'd like to thank my children for being so well behaved and for actually eating, big applause for Maddy! Thanks Billy for the lunch at Bertucci's... yum !

We walked around at Valley Forge, took some pics... I have gone camera crazy lately... Spending way too much on photo developing! ( but these moments are priceless, right? right! ).

Prelude to Mother's Day

This has been a crazy but fun week... [ review ]. Monday: I don't remember. Tuesday: typical day as in getting my boys off to school, run errands, but the afternoon we all went to a park and met a friend of Jackson's and played for 3 hours!!! ( Pizza & Rita's water ice included).
Wednesday: errands and Grant, Maddy & I played at the park. I took some great pics in the fields of dandylions! Grant loves to make a wish & blow! Thursday: I went on a field trip with Grant to the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy. I took even more pictures! Jackson had a ballgame tonight too. Friday: we have plans to play at a park in the morning. So, WOW!
My laundry is kinda getting done, but piling high, waiting to be folded. I don't think I have cooked much this week. I must have a million debit receipts to record & balance the checkbook!
But, it's all okay! I am really trying to just ENJOY my kids! Pay attention to little things... the little things that they find intriguing! I'm happy to be their MOM!
