" Bama Bound"

Heading to Alabama the end of upcoming week. 18 HOUR drive... done in two days.
Plan on visiting the space station in Huntsville, AL on our way down. Looking forward to seeing family & watching my kids play with their cousins ! I always have a list of food I MUST eat when I go! Cheese Krystals... Crab Claws... fresh Gulf seafood... boiled peanuts... mexican food at El Giro's ! Can't believe the Summer is almost over ! Have a good week!

Two Layouts...

I cut pieces of that $100 bill ( used in the Layout) from the real estate section of the newspaper. I think it worked perfectly ! Played around with paint and circle patterns on the other page LO.

Inspired by GiGi's Blog... HERE I love the art journal she created... had to do one! At just a perfect time in my life to start one... July 1st was our 3 year anniversary of (leaving all we knew behind in Alabama and...) relocating to PA.

WOW, my girl's hair is getting long. Thinking of getting it cut this week. Just a trim so it looks thicker. My sweet boys ! Can't believe it's almost August! They will BOTH be in school soon ! Time flies too quickly !

This Weekend....

Living here in PA, we often times have the pleasure of watching a hot air balloon
drift across the clear sky ! Friday we watched this one land at the ski slope } Spring Mount, that we live near. It looks like fun !

Birthday Party...

Saturday we went to a dear friend's Birthday Party . My kids had a blast at this gymnastics party ! ( Thanks Ronnie for the pictures ) !

What We Did....

We took a drive to Bushkill Falls today. Non Traditional 4th of July, but all of our family is in Alabama so we can do this! As we headed out this morning I grabbed a CD I wanted to listen to. Enya. Thought it would soothe my nerves before this adventure began. My husband is such a comedian... this may be one of those " you had to be there" , but I'm sharing with you anyway. So, I have Enya playing as we are driving and
he asks " What are we listening to ?"
I said " Enya".
He said " Got Enya thing else we can listen to ?!"
I thought it was funny!
